About this service
Most birthday decoration in Pune happens in a flat, on a weekday evening, with a two-hour window between the family getting home and the first guest arriving. That constraint shapes everything Fungga does on this service: we measure before we quote, we confirm the arrival slot the day before, and we bring the whole setup ready to build rather than assembling it in your living room from scratch.
First and half birthdays
A one-year-old’s party is photographed more than it is attended. So we put the budget where the camera points — a backdrop, a styled cake table, a name or age cutout — instead of spreading thin décor across four walls.
Half-birthday setups follow the same shape at a smaller scale, usually a backdrop with a “6 months” cutout and a cake table.
Kids’ theme parties
Themes we build regularly: unicorn, jungle safari, space, dinosaur, superhero, mermaid, construction, cars, princess. Each is built from balloons, foil accents, a printed or fabric backdrop and props, sized to the wall you actually have rather than to the photograph the theme came from.
If your child has asked for something we have not listed, send the picture. Most of our themed work starts as a screenshot a parent saved.
Milestone birthdays for adults
Thirtieth, fortieth, fiftieth and sixtieth birthdays need a different register: fewer props, more lighting, a photo display wall if the family has the pictures, and a colour scheme that reads as celebratory rather than childish. Gold and white, deep red and cream, and navy with metallics are the combinations we build most.
Surprise parties
For a surprise, the timing is the job. Tell us the window — the two hours they are out, the evening they land — and we work inside it without calling you eleven times. We can also set up early and keep a room closed until the reveal.

How far in advance should I book birthday decoration?
Book Fungga four to five days ahead for a birthday setup at home, and two to three weeks for a hall or venue. Weekend evenings and festival weeks fill first, so message us with the date as soon as you have it — we can often still take a same-week booking mid-week.
Do you decorate for first birthdays?
First birthdays are the single most common setup Fungga builds. For a one-year-old we usually suggest a backdrop and a styled cake table rather than decorating the whole room: it photographs better, it keeps the floor clear for crawling guests, and it costs less than covering every wall.
Can you do a specific cartoon or character theme?
Yes. Fungga regularly builds unicorn, jungle, space, dinosaur, superhero, mermaid, car and princess themes, and works to custom briefs from a photograph. Send the picture on WhatsApp and we will tell you what can be matched with props available in Pune and what we would substitute.
Will you decorate in a society clubhouse or party hall?
Yes — Fungga works in society clubhouses, party halls and banquet spaces across Pune and PCMC. Arrange our access at least three hours before the party and let us know if the committee needs a gate pass or written intimation, and we will send whatever they ask for.
Do you provide anything besides the decoration?
Fungga provides décor, props, backdrops and styling, and coordinates cake, photography and entertainment with partner vendors on larger bookings. We do not cater. Tell us what else you need and we will say plainly what we handle ourselves and what we would book on your behalf.
