An event studio that grew out of a balloon table
Fungga started in Baner making décor for people we knew, and now sets up celebrations across Pune and PCMC most weekends of the year.
Who we are
Fungga is an event organising and décor studio based in Baner, Pune, Maharashtra, founded by Monica Ahuja and working since 2021. We plan and decorate birthdays, baby showers, naming ceremonies, anniversaries, weddings, corporate functions and society events across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. Our services include balloon and theme décor, floral and stage decoration, event planning and coordination, and flower bouquets and gifting under our Mona's Creativity line.
The name people first knew us by was the balloons, and that is still the work we have the deepest portfolio in. But a balloon arch is rarely the whole job: the same families came back for the stage at a naming ceremony, the flowers for a house function, and eventually the running of the whole evening. So that is what Fungga does now.
We are a small in-house team rather than a booking desk that subcontracts. The people who quote your event are the people who set it up, which is why we take on a limited number of full-planning events in a month — enough to keep somebody on site through each one.
Mona's Creativity is our bouquet and gifting line, named after Monica Ahuja. It is the same business, the same team and the same phone number, named separately because a bouquet and a full function are different conversations. It is not a separate company.

Fungga was started by Monica Ahuja in 2021 and still runs out of Baner. The bouquet line carries the name it began under — Mona's Creativity — which is why the flowers and the balloon work share a phone number rather than a brand.
That matters more than a founder story usually does, because it is the reason we do not subcontract. The person who quotes your event is part of the team that builds it, and we cap the number of full-planning events we take in a month so that stays true.
Everything on our blog is written by Monica Ahuja — what things cost, how long a setup holds, why a helium arch is on the floor by noon. It comes from doing the work, not from a content brief.
How a booking works
Four steps, and no part of it needs an account, an app or a login.

You enquire
Message us on WhatsApp, call, or send the form. Tell us the occasion, the date and the area — that is enough for a first answer.

We discuss the theme and the space
Send photographs of the room or the venue and anything you have saved. We come back with what we would build there, what it costs, and what we would change.

You confirm
A 50% advance holds the date. The full inclusion list is confirmed in writing on WhatsApp, so there is a record of exactly what was agreed.

Setup day
We arrive inside the agreed window, build on site, and clear our packaging before we leave. Cleanup is included — we come back for the takedown.
