About this service
The whole job on a surprise is timing. You give Fungga the window; we work inside it, and we do not call you eleven times while doing it.
Most of this work is in flats across Baner, Balewadi, Wakad and Aundh, with a steady share in hotel rooms and on society terraces.
Setups we build most
Room décor — heart balloons, fairy lights, a petal path and a photo wall in a bedroom or living room, built in under two hours.
Terrace dinners — string lights, a table for two, candles and a floral centrepiece. Weather-dependent, so we agree a wet-weather plan when we quote.
Milestone anniversaries — 25th and 50th anniversaries are family functions rather than couple surprises. Those get a photo display wall, a stage or seating area for the couple, and fresh flower work.
Proposals — quoted individually, because the location is rarely a home and usually needs permission.
What we need from you
- The window we can work in, and who will let us in
- The venue’s rules on open flame, if it is a hotel or a clubhouse
- A number we can reach that is not the person being surprised
That last one matters more than it sounds. More than one setup has been given away by a confirmation call at the wrong moment.
Candles, flame and venue rules
Fungga uses real candles where the venue allows open flame and LED candles where it does not. Most hotels in Pune do not permit open flame in rooms; many societies allow it on a private terrace. We check before we quote so the setup you agreed to is the setup that arrives.
Cleanup
Petals, wax and balloon debris are ours to clear, not yours. We return the next morning by arrangement, or the same night for a hotel room where checkout is early.

Can you set up a surprise while my partner is out?
Yes — surprise setups are most of what Fungga does on this service. Tell us the window, such as the two hours they are at the market or the evening their flight lands, and we work inside it. We confirm by a single message when the setup is finished rather than calling you repeatedly.
Do you do anniversary decoration in hotel rooms?
Yes, where the hotel permits an outside vendor. Fungga needs the hotel's written permission and room access ahead of check-in, so give us the property name when you enquire and we will confirm directly with them whether candles, balloons and petals are allowed.
Can you arrange a proposal setup?
Fungga builds proposal setups with rose petal paths, heart arrangements, candles and fairy lights, quoted individually because the location is usually not a home. Send us the spot and the time on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is possible there and what permission it needs.
Do you use real candles?
Fungga uses real candles where the venue allows open flame and LED candles where it does not, which covers most hotels and many societies. We will tell you which you are getting at the quote stage rather than substituting on the day.
How late can you set up?
Fungga takes anniversary and surprise setups up to 9:00 PM as standard, and later during festival and wedding season by arrangement. Message us on WhatsApp with the time you need and we will confirm whether the team can hold that slot.
