Privacy policy

This policy is written against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It covers this website, fungga.in, and the enquiries that reach us through it.

Who is responsible for your data

Fungga, Baner, Pune, Maharashtra 411045, is the Data Fiduciary for any personal data you submit through this website. For anything in this policy, write to hello@fungga.in or message us on WhatsApp at +91 93227 19666.

What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry form, we collect your name, your phone number, and whatever you tell us about the event or order — the occasion, the date, the area, the budget band and your message. We use it for exactly one purpose: replying to you and, if you book, delivering the work. That is the lawful basis under the Act — data you gave us voluntarily for a purpose you asked us to carry out.

When you message us on WhatsApp or call, that conversation happens on WhatsApp's or your carrier's infrastructure under their own terms, not ours. We keep the conversation in our WhatsApp Business inbox so we can find what was agreed.

When you browse the site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard request logs, and if analytics are enabled we see aggregate page views and which buttons are clicked. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.

What we do not collect

This site has no accounts, no login, no shopping cart and no payment gateway. We never ask for and never store card details, bank details, addresses beyond the delivery area you tell us, or identity documents. Payments, when you book, are made directly by UPI, transfer or cash — not through this website.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry is delivered to our business inbox by Resend, an email service provider, and is stored in our email account. Spam filtering on the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the submission is from a person and does not receive your enquiry content. Nobody else receives your data, and we do not pass it to other vendors unless delivering your booking requires it — for example, giving a delivery address to the rider bringing your bouquet.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed bookings are kept for three years for accounting and in case of a dispute, then deleted. WhatsApp conversations are kept while the account is active and cleared periodically.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data of yours we hold and what we have done with it
• correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
• erase your data, where we are not required to keep it for accounting
• nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to

Write to hello@fungga.in with the phone number you used, and we will act within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

We decorate children's parties, but we deal with the adult booking them. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Photographs of events that include children are published only with the permission of the family who booked us.

Photographs of your event

We photograph our own setups for our portfolio. If you would prefer your event not to appear on this website or on Instagram, tell us — before or after the event — and we will not publish it, or we will take it down. You do not have to give a reason.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries travel encrypted, and access to our inbox is limited to the people who answer it. No system is perfectly secure, but there is very little here to steal — we hold names, numbers and event details, and nothing financial.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes affecting enquiries already submitted will be communicated directly.
