About this service
A baby shower or naming ceremony is a family function with elders present and a photographer booked. That means the setup has to look right from the doorway, hold for the whole afternoon, and leave enough clear floor for people to sit.
Fungga has been decorating these out of Baner since 2021, mostly in flats and society clubhouses across Baner, Balewadi, Aundh, Pashan and Wakad.

Baby shower, godh bharai and naming ceremony are not the same job
A western-style baby shower is built around a backdrop and a photo corner, in pastels, with the mother-to-be seated centrally.
A godh bharai is built around the ceremony itself: a decorated seat or swing, fresh marigold and jasmine, a rangoli space kept clear, and room for the women of the family to sit around her.
A naming ceremony or annaprashan centres on the cradle and the name board. The cradle décor is what families photograph and what the grandparents remember, so it gets fresh flowers rather than plastic — that difference is visible in every picture taken that day.

Colours that photograph well
Pastel pink, sage and cream; blue, white and silver; yellow and orange marigold for traditional ceremonies. We steer families away from very dark schemes for these functions — flats in Pune are lit from above, and dark backdrops photograph flat and heavy on a phone camera.
Timing
Book four to five days ahead for a home setup and two weeks for a clubhouse or hall. If the function runs from a morning muhurat into an evening reception, tell us at the quote stage: an eight-hour setup is built differently from a three-hour one.

What does baby shower decoration in Pune include?

Do you use fresh flowers or artificial ones?
Fungga uses fresh flowers for naming ceremonies, godh bharai and cradle décor, sourced on the morning of the function. Artificial flowers are used only where a setup has to survive several days or direct sun, and we always say which you are getting before you book.
How long will the decoration hold up?
A Fungga baby shower setup is built to hold for the full function, and air-filled balloon work keeps its shape for three to five days indoors. If your function runs from morning into the evening, say so when you book — we build differently for eight hours than for three.
Can you set up in a society clubhouse?
Yes — a large share of the baby showers Fungga decorates are in society clubhouses across Baner, Balewadi and Wakad. We need access about three hours before the function and a power point near the setup area; if your committee requires a gate pass or written intimation, we will provide it.
